Canadian Jewish Heritage Month 2025
As May comes to an end, we want to acknowledge Canadian Jewish Heritage Month—a time to celebrate the rich history, culture, and enduring contributions of Jewish Canadians to our nation.
Established in 2018 through unanimous parliamentary support, Canadian Jewish Heritage Month recognizes the pivotal role Jewish Canadians have played in shaping Canada’s social, political, and cultural landscape over the past 250 years. With a population of approximately 400,000, Canada hosts the fourth-largest Jewish community globally.
As we reflect on Canadian Jewish Heritage Month, let us celebrate the diversity, resilience, and invaluable contributions of Jewish Canadians, while reaffirming our commitment to combating antisemitism and fostering an inclusive society for all.
