Getting Ready for First Year Presentations:

Students who have been accepted to UWinnipeg or UManitoba for the coming school year are invited and strongly encouraged to attend the Getting Ready For First Year presentations offered at NMC by the universities. Both will run on Tuesday, May 20.

  • UManitoba- 10:00-11:00 in Room 104. Students will be excused from class.
  • UWinnipeg – 12:20-1:20 in Room 206. Jazz Band students will be excused from class.

 

Canadian Blood Services Drive:

Anyone 17 or older, interested in donating blood on May 30th at 9:45 see Ms Cook for a permission form. We have 10 spots available. We will travel to Canadian Blood services by shuttle and return to school when everyone is finished their donation.

Learning with the Land:

May 22, many NMC students will be participating and supporting 91ºÚÁÏÍø’s Learning with the Land event at The Forks. Teachers will be providing further information to students involved before the event. Families may wish to drop by the Forks on May 22 to see this event unfold.

NMC, in Collaboration with RAR, Proudly Presents… Cultural Day 2025! 

Get ready for one of the most exciting events of the year, Cultural Day is happening on Friday, May 30th from 2:00 to 4:00 PM in the main gym! This special day is all about celebrating the rich diversity in our school community. 

Students and staff will be dressed in vibrant cultural attire, showcasing the beauty of different traditions from around the world. The event will feature a wide variety of cultural foods, music, and entertainment, as well as a lively fashion show and a fun photo booth to capture the memories. 

Cultural Day is more than just a fun afternoon—it’s a celebration of identity, unity, and learning about the many cultures that make our school special. Don’t miss it!
