Strategic Action 3.1: Learner Agency & Assessment
Promote learner agency and potential through dynamic assessments.
Enhancing Assessment Practices
91ºÚÁÏÍø teachers are leveraging PowerSchool Gradebook to enhance assessment and better capture learner potential. This implementation fosters focused discussions on dynamic, formative, and summative assessments, ensuring that evaluations are fair, valid, and reliable measures of learning.
Aligning with Best Practices
A working group of principals and vice-principals is reviewing and revising 91ºÚÁÏÍø Policy IK (Academic Achievement) to align with current best practices in assessment. This ensures our policies support dynamic, outcomes-based formative assessment and accurately reflect student learning across the division.
